FAQs

What conditions do you commonly treat?

Acupuncture may support a wide range of concerns including:

  • Pain and musculoskeletal conditions

  • Stress and anxiety

  • Headaches and migraines

  • Sleep concerns

  • Digestive issues

  • Reproductive and hormonal health

  • Fertility support

  • Pregnancy and postpartum support

  • General wellness and preventive care

How often should I receive acupuncture

2

Treatment frequency varies depending on your goals and condition. During your first visit, we'll discuss a personalized treatment plan and recommended schedule.

What should I wear?

3

Come dressed in whatever feels comfortable and allows you to relax. Loose-fitting clothing such as a T-shirt, soft pants, or relaxed layers work best and make it easy to access to the arms, legs and abdomen for treatment.

Does acupuncture hurt?

4

Acupuncture needles are extremely thin — much finer than a typical injection or blood draw needle. Most people feel little to no discomfort during treatment. You may notice a brief sensation when a needle is placed, such as a tiny pinch, warmth, tingling,or a gentle ache.

I practice gentle needling techniques with your comfort as the priority. Any sensation is typically mild and short-lived and many clients find acupuncture to be a deeply relaxing experience.

Do you accept insurance?

5

I’m happy to provide a superbill for potential reimbursement if your insurance plan covers acupuncture.

What is the first treatment like?

6

This first session is a comprehensive intake & treatment. We’ll discuss your primary concerns, health history, lifestyle and goals followed by an acupuncture treatment based on your needs. This session allows time to create a personalized treatment plan.
